turbo question?
do you guys think it would be ok to put a turbo on my car with all the oil and coolant lines hooked up but no charge piping.because i still need to drive my car but i want to start putting the turbo on.just dont have time to do it one time.

no charge pipes? lol, good idea. think about how fast a turbo spins when there is resistance in the charge pipes and a WG to let excess exhaust gasses pass...
now think about how fast your turbo will spin with no piping and no way to slow it down.... |

Just in case you didn't get what ryan89crx is trying to tell you, there is such a thing as a turbo overspinning.
If the air isn't going anywhere, the turbo has no resistance and can be damaged by high turbine RPM's. |

Is the turbo in the pic yours? To the OP try getting a spare motor to build. Or take the bus to work

the only way you could pull this off is if you keep your waste gate open all the time
how? well the only thing I can think of is not putting the waste gate on and having a hole in the manifold just keep in mind you might get pulled over for the noise |
