turbo question
 
i need to know if rubber piping wound work for the down piping for a turbo because i need to save some money for a tranny.....i dont think it wound work because say somehow i got water in my air intake and stopped air for coming in... it wound pinch the piping together and make problems..... someone please let me know if it wound work or if its a bad idea

Rubber piping for you charge pipes???? Yes you can, just grab a bunch of intake piping from a junkyard and make them work.

Now for your downpipe that connects to your exhaust system, hell no.....

Your question is confusing, and this is HMT so ghetto rigging is our life...nothing wrong with cutting some corners, and I mean some.

So take all the rubber out from your engine it'll melt ??? ???.. I agree with that if this guy ment to use for rubber for a downpipe, but I think he ment charge pipes, for charge pipes, you can use rubber.

if you mean down pipe screw what i voted it will melt but for a charge pipe yea why not

Judging from the grammar and spelling I think the guy is confused....I mean English is probably a second language...so give him the benefit of doubt. He he really ment downpipe he is retarded.

But the question has been answered regardless, this should be under forced induction not general anyways.
