I just bought a turbo for my car since the one I was using was only borrowed. I bought a turbonetics T3/T04. The kid said it was a T04E. But the turbo only has a 2.5 compressor inlet which makes me think its a T04B cause the T04E I have at home, which I know is a T04E, has a 3 inch compressor inlet.


This turbo I bought came off a Drag gen 3 kit. Those kits come with T04B's but you can also get a T04E with them so I don't know. I'm shooting for 700-850hp and I don't know if a T04B will be big enough. So what do you think it is?

 

i have a turbonetics t04e 50 trim and it has a 2 inch inlet. i think the 57 trims have a bigger inlet.

 

ive never made 700-800 hp but i really think the turbo u got is a bit small for what ur goals are

id go with a HUGE t3/t4 or even a straight t4
