looking good so far.
d16a1 nice! 86-87 or 88-89?
what radiator you using?

Re: Turbo progress...

its an 88-89 with full 89 integra wireing. i figured since it was carby to begin with im gonna have to swap entire harness i mines well go with the electronic advance ecu so i can run turbo-edit or maybe an adapter harness to obd-1 and hondata

im useing the stock hf half radiator. if its not enough to cool it, than ill go with a dual core b16 delsol radiator. But ive seen some b16 turbo's with half radatiors and no overheating so im hopeing for the best.

total cost of the kit is $350, the manifold is custom tigwelded by myself, all the flanges were plasma cut and diegrinded to shape. took a while, but i think i have 6 bucks of material in the manifold....

Re: Turbo progress...

did you change any fuel lines or tank from an si or 1g teg?

rexsk8er 08-08-2005 06:02 PM

Re: Turbo progress...

the fuel lines are stock carby, there the same wall thickness so i dont see why they cant handle the pressure, they are smaller diamater however wich has me concerned.... if i run lean ill install custom lines or a bigger pump. the only part i changed was the fuel pickup to an si modle. i didnt have a si parts car to pull lines from so i put the pump in the back of the car just cut one of the banjo style fule lines from the filter to the fuel rail in half, bolted the one part to the pump and hoseclamped the cut end to the inlet on the hardline. yeah, its ghetto, and no there wont be any fmus on this setup :P but the hoseclamps are good up to 150psi so i think im safe.
