Default turbo problem.

i have a turbo bought half year from ebay. it's seemns to be t3. problem is: when it connected to exhaust manifold and i close with ma hand compressor outlet and smash gas my boost controller shom me max 0.3 bar. so when everything connected and i am driving hard there only vacum on my avc-r. and only when i depress gas it's sometime show 0.1-0.2 bar... another thing - i have found little oil leaks in turbo outlet.. what i have to do to make it working? wastegate is ok - i have checked it. it must open on 8 psi (about 0.5 bar). but wastgeate arm never evenmove.. i dont know what to do, `cos it's my first setup i am trying to do and there (i am from Belarus - smallcountry in Europe) nobody even heard about turboing civics.. i will be first if i done that.

in order for anyone to help you we need to know what car you have, what engine you have. the oil leaks indicate that your turbo may need to be rebuilt. it's also possible that your engine is not large enough to generate enough exhaust energy to spool the turbo. I dunno.

The oil leak may be caused by too much pressure going to the turbo. Get a needle valve and your problem might be fixed there.

As for your other problem, well I couldn't decipher what the actual problem is

I know you said your wastegate is okay but I can't think of anything else your problem could be.

wastegate valve dont even open. i have read on https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=16880 that boost is created on notsmall turbins only under the boost. and i am revving at neutral. may be that is reason? any way. i will try to find some specialist on turbines and ask him also what can couse such damn thing. =(

i just have seen on my turbo closelly. it's indicate .051 A/R on compressor side and 0.67 A/R on turbine. may be that turbine is from diesel truck and will not work with my motor? and i must buy new turbo?
