Who was the guy who made the turbo over the tranny using the stock cast manifold ?. I saw it on the crxforum a long time ago but i dont rememner if he got it to work.

Well .. Not over the tranny i guess but where the battery is. Kinda like Ed Sassler's old set up.

Nahh man ... thats a custom manifold.

A while back there was a guy in the crx forum who changed the lower half of the stock manifold to route back to the side (like the one above)... I just wanted to see if anyone heard about that .. or what ever happend to that project.

Yes, I remember that project, he basically kept the 4-1 or 4-2 upper half and put a flange on the bottom and flipped it around to go straight up, and put the turbo near the Dizzy, I havent seen any new posts on that...

Yeahh you are right... So it wasnt over the tranny. Anyways ... it looked like a cheap & easy solution to the B-series Manifold price issue.

Definatly would need to build some supports to hold that thing in place, and make a nice oil return, it could work, but it maybe tough in a 4g engine bay.
