I have a t25 on my d16z6 on a 95 civic. It is awesome, spools up by 3000 rpm and feels great. Loud sound from bov (1st gen eclipse). The power is great early but drops off at the higher rpms. Good for daily driver. Also makes a nice spooling sound.

I don't have a digital camera but i can give you info.
Brand new t25 $300
Lof manifold $150
Probe IC $40
FMU $90
Fuel Pump $69
Boost gauge $30
Air/Fuel gauge $50
Eclipse down pipe $20 (had to modify to fit)
BOV 1st gen eclipse $40
Charge pipes mandrel bends $60
Misc. hose, clamps, brass fittings $30
I left the t25 alone, did not rotate the compressor. Put the ic in front bumper horizontally. It pushes 8 psi but am trying to bring it down to 6 psi. Doing it do I can feel more at ease on the stock engine, drive it everyday to school and work. It is great. Don't know times or anything. Have not taken it to the track or raced anyone yet. Did with the help of my father, really mechanic knowledgeable.

Hey anyone have any advice in which turbo I should go with the 14b or t25? Which one would be easier and cheaper and at the same time reliable? Thanks everyone! (I have 88k miles on my car)

If your going to be running over 12 psi and going to the track get the 14b because it will pull harder. If your going to be running under 12 psi and it's your daily driver then get the T-25 because it will spool faster. If you would read the tech articles you would notice that Jeff said they are both pretty easy to work with. As far as reliabilty? well 11 out of the 21 turbo projects on this site used either a T-25 or a 14b so I am guessing that's pretty reliable. I say just buy the cheapest turbo you can find T-25 or 14b and you will be happy with either one.

how much faster does a t25 spool than a 14b,

I was thinkin bout a 14b for my dx,
mainly cuz of the project here(adams i think)
it didnt say how much boost he was running, but it was like 180hp/180tq !! i mean damn!

Its already stated here that the t25 spools by 3k rpm.
what rpm do you think a 14b will spool at ?

thnx
