Turdbo

ok i bought this turbo a while ago...and i noticed one of the holes to mount it was kinda welded closed..also i aint going to be able to mount it fully either...because of the hf mani..could i bolt it on with 3 bolts...or will it leak?? any suggestions?

if you look in the middle of the pic you can see where the bolt would go up into the turbo housing...but on my hf i have no holes that go through it to put a bolt through?...how am i suposed to put a bolt to mount it their?

i plan on putting the turbo on tomorrow if its possible...doesn anyone have any ideas

i'm guessing it is going leak as it needs that hole to seal. i think you personally got hosed. sell ur turbo or atleast the housing.

Just drill out the hole and use a nut and bolt.

i cant use a nut because the bolt doesnt go all the way through..but im going to re tap the housing.. and then drill a hole through the adapter plate to match the hole...problem solved..and i'll use a thicher gasket to make sure it stays sealed ..if any other suggestions let me know thanks-Zach
