I've been getting ambitious and I'd like to make me a mani. I've been screwing around with a new way of making one....anyway, check this out, has anyone here ever used/seen anybody use one quite like this?

I was thinking about doing one like this for my b16...It looks easier than a ramhorn...I guess i'm just wondering if it works as well...

looks taller that most other ram horn manifolds. wonder if u would have any hood clearance issues?

like it says, it is a prototype drag manifold. for a H23.
They don't have hood clearance to work with.
You could make this a lot lower if you wanted to.
and have a full 4-2-1 manifold.

haha, a 4-2-1 designed turbo manifold... lol, probably works pretty decent and alot easier to make than a ram horn, Only downside I see is that it kinda looks homo.

I don't like the way runners 12 and 34 come togheter that soon after the head.

The design with the runners coming together at the collector is much better.

i'm making a log style manifold.
Not that it's the best but hey, it works.

I'd rock a logmani before that personally I think they just wanted to make something different from whats out there now cause I don't see what's the point of making it like that?

what is your point, do you even have a clue what you're talking about.

im sure it works fine except that it is tall and it is sqeezing 4 cylinders into 2 pretty small pipes.

its not the best, but is there really a best manifold design.

I would imagine that this manifold would not perform as well as the 4 into 1 collector style manifolds when in Higher RPM's, But h23's don't rev high, so it would be interesting to see how it would perform.
