Turbo Mani for d17a?
I've got a 2001 civic, looking to boost it for fun. What mani works on this engine? Would one from a 00 civic (hf manifold) work?

Re: Turbo Mani for d17a?
one made from a d17
no none of the others work the d17 head is a one off design that I dont think honda will ever use again due to its poor design |
Re: Turbo Mani for d17a?
i have a new HKS cast lug here. The number on it, when cross checked in their database, says it's for a honda 1.7...
funny engine bolt pattern. it might be it. Need to check. It's for internally gated T25. I would go GT25R or if on a budget, GT22 journal bearing. One of them pushes up to 260hp i think. |
Re: Turbo Mani for d17a?
I heard the d17 header bolt pattern is different between the vtec and non vtecs... pretty gay

Re: Turbo Mani for d17a?
a1 and a2's both use the same flange. Do a search for Dezod, they sell a couple different manifolds but they are pricey for what you get.
If you are a decent DIY'er and just need a turbo manifold shoot me a PM. I have a d17 flange hanging in the garage and already have a 1.25" collector cut and welded :) Randy |
