turbo lubrication (inlet and outlet questions)
hello everybody
i have a dumb question for ya'. my turbo's middle (oil) section is upside down so the return flange is up. can i feed the turbo from the return and return fom the feed? best regards moshik galimidi |
Re: turbo lubrication (inlet and outlet questions)
No. Rotate(clock)the center section so the return is as close to down as possible.

Re: turbo lubrication (inlet and outlet questions)
i'm asking this because i saw some projects that the flange of the oil is upwrds.
could it be thats some turbos have flange also on the inlet? |
Re: turbo lubrication (inlet and outlet questions)
quite possibly. some turbos need an inlet flange and some dont

Re: turbo lubrication (inlet and outlet questions)
Yes, some turbos use an inlet flange...
Mine does, the oil inlet was not threaded so using a flange is the only way... it's fairly common to use an inlet flange... |
