I got over my fear today and went for a spin in my lscrx with a custom turbo kit. I was not making any boost and i can't hear the turbo spool at all, what can i check for?

do you even have a boost gauge.

what turbo?

WG hooked up properly?

yes, i do have a gauge and boost won't go pass 2 psi, it's a garret to4e a/r 50. I don't know if it's a boost like, my vacumm reading is at 20 hmg at idle.
set up:
450 injectors with safc and walboro.

thats not that big at all.

but yeah, check ur wastegate man,
is it internally wastegated? adjustable?

check the flapper, make sure it can open/close ok.

maybe your boost is set too low,
if its internally WG, and ur boost is set really low,
then the lower ur set it, the longer it'll take to build boost so maybe its set at like 4, and it just cant build in time to reach that 4.

it is spooling though, if ur seeing 2psi,
if it wasnt spoolin you wouldnt see anything.

it's a t3/t40e with .50 AR, my bad.
wastegate will open at 7psi, i already test it. It's is an external wg by the way. it will get 1 or 2 psi at 6000+rpm, that's definitely not normal.

Does the turbo spin freely? Have you checked the pipes/connections? Any leaks?

u did not un-do the hose that connects the valve cover to the intake pipe. :P
