Lets just start off saying that im very dissapointed.......

I couldnt take it anymore and had to go up to the track tonight. I only had time to run 1 time cause my gf had to be home soon. I raced a red 2nd gen gsx that was running 20psi, He did very well, a 12.9 actually lol. On the otherhand i did very poorly and dont understand why. Its like 1st gear and the begining of 2nd gear pull really hard. (Harder in fact than my nitrous did) But seriously after 60 mph it like looses its power or something. It feels alot faster than a 16.5 when im driving it on the street so i dunno whats going on. Im hoping the intercooler will fix some of this problem when its hooked up. But heres the times of me running at 5psi

man, thats ------- shitty *** slow, your trap speeds are even slow. Just by listing to your car it sounds really homo, Drop the exhaust off right off the downpipe and go drive around the block and see if it feels better. Either That or put a nice intercooler setup on and bump up the boost. Do you have any idea what a stock intrepid will run?

 

im not too familiar on honda's, but at 5psi... shouldnt it be a little faster sounds like maybe you're using a really small turbo...

 

I ran 16.4 @ 80mph with a 2.1 60ft and 10.3 1/8 last summer in my Suzuki vitara. The thing pulls great in the first couple of gears but up top it sucks, it has something to do with the fact that the car is a brick and the third gear ratio just feels lossy.

 

When i first got the car i ran a 17.5 stock. With my zex nitrous setup the best i ran with the 75 shot was a 16.0 at 86mph burning out thru all first gear (really had traction issues with the nitrous) I just hope when i get my fmic hooked up and run a lil more boost i will be able to break into the 15's. Thats all i want

 

When did Honda start making Intrepids?

Did you have 10 of your closest friens in the car with you when you made that run? Maybe a flat tire? Did you run out of gas? What the hell? What size exhaust are you running?

running a 2.5" exhaust everything seemed to be running fine i dunno im just pissed

 

they started making them back in 83. it was a partnership at first, but soon honda took over after dodge sold out to them. soon after july of 84 is when honda officially started making intrepids. honda still makes them today, however, intrepids are the only modle that honda actually makes...

my first car was a 93 intrepid with the 3.5 and that thing was ------- quick for being extremely fat. I could just hit the e-brake and to burnouts till i couldnt breathe anymore. But the thing went through intake manifold gaskets and head gaskets like crazy......Damn mitsubishi motors.
