turbo integra problem

Im having a small problem with my integra after i installed my turbo setup. when i try to hold the rmps steady while in neutral at say 2000 rpms, the engine speed drops to like 1700 rpms and climbs back up to 2000 and then it does it again and again for as long as i hold the throttle lightly. It will also, while driving, and again only while holding the throttle lightly, decelerate as if i let go of the gas completly and then quickly recover. this causes the car to buck while i cruise slowly. the car has no problem with acceleration while holding throttle at about 5% or more. im not sure what system it could be in because i installed everything at the same time. i installed a t25 turbo, 450cc injectors w/fuel rail, crane cams ignition, and apexi vafc. anyone with any info will be much apreciated. I have checked everything that a could think of. Vacum leaks, tps is ok, changed settings on vafc, nothing makes any diffirence. PLEASE HELP.

what are you settings on the vafc? maybe u didn't setup the vafc properly like the manual says, "turn key to on position, floor gas pedal for 15 seconds" or some ---- so it can get a reading on full throttle. i bet ur settings or installation is krap. take out that crane cam ignition ----, try jus the afc n 450's. and back ur timing off a lot when using the afc.

I can asure you the install is not crap. but the settings might be. here are my settings for wide throttle: 1k-39 1.5k-39 2k-39 2.5k-38 3k-38 3.5k-37 4k-37 4.5k-36 5k-36 5.5k-36 6k-36 6.5k-35 Narr. throttle is 1k-39 1.5k-39 2k-39 2.5k-38 3k-38 3.5k-37 4k-36 4.5k-36 5k-36 5.5k-36 6k-36 6.5k-35. Throttle point for Narr. is 10% Wide is 50%. why would you say to get rid of the ignition. it has alot more spark that stock. the stock coil only lasted about 3 days after i boosted it

i didnt mean install of ur turbo setup being crap, i meant maybe u installed the ignition krappy or incorectly. try going a lil more lean on part throttle like 39 39 39 38 38 37 then 37 across the board, i never really used the afc for long but i never had poping issues either. is it the safc 1 or 2. jus chip ur ecu lol

It's an AFC hack - it is far worse than mere crap. I asure [sic] you!

You are bitching about the ECU administering high vacuum "no load" fuel cut when you have a small amount of engine load present. This is what happens when you send the ECU completely erroneous ---- for a MAP signal. Enjoy your significant ignition advance under boost, and your soon to be dearly departed ring lands.

No, the high mileage years old already worn out stock coil died. Had nothing to do with the boost. Stock Honduh ignition in good repair is good for 400 whp.

so are you telling me that everyone that turboed their car and used an afc hack has these same problems. i doubt it or more people would have a clue what the problem is. although it does sound like that is what is happening. maybe i will look into chipping my ecu. thanks good to know the stock coil would have held up if i just replaced it with an original especially since i have 2 of them sitting on the workbench oh well too late now

yes, everyone who used the afc hack ran into those problems, you need to retard your timing all the way on the dizzy. i told u jus use the stock ignition system. and paying someone on this site to chip ur ecu cost about as much as an fmu haha. they'll even put a basemap on it so you'll be safer then that afc.
