i got my setup done but im having trouble with the bov. i can hear fluttering and then a whosh. isnt this fluttering called reversion? isnt it bad for the turbo? i have an turbo xs type s and i havent put any washers inside it for to tighten it up. could this be the problem? i figured it was to tight already. i have it teed into the intake mani vacume source. also im running the hack at 7 psi with stock timing and no detonation should i retard it anyways? your thoughts and ideas will be much appreciated.

 

I think it depends on the BOV. Some make different noise.

I had about the same problem with my BOV. If you here fluttering from the turbo then your BOV is not working properly. I had to adjust mine a bit and then it worked fine. Just try ------- with it a bit and it should be fine.

how did you fix it jd? more or less tension on the spring?

 

change the vacuum source , its works every time

 

i never said the turbo was legal ....ball buster
