TURBO HELP?

I have a little dilima, I've already searched too.

I just bought a turbo kit, that has everything BUT a tuned / chipped ECU and injectors...

anyways; I have all my kit ready to bolt up and stuff, but I am planning on running like 3-5psi w/o tuning. I plan on getting it tuned here in a week or sooner, But I know thats bad to not tune your ecu when your running boost and everything but I was told I could run little lbs of boost w/o needing to get new injectors and tune my ecu???

if this isnt true at all, can somebody tell me? Thanks

you don't want to run any amount of boost with you the fuel to go along with it, that is why you need some sort of fuel management. Without it you will run your motor lean and cause detonation which will destroy your engine.

did you know you can drive a turbocharged car without boosting even one psi?
drive at part throttle no hard acceleration, stay out of boost, that means drive like a granny.

I kno wyou could do that, but i just wanted to know if what I said up there makes any sense. And I was told not to tap for oil anywhere, instead buy soem sort of sandwhich thing that fits between the block and the oil filter? Any clue what that is?

Re: TURBO HELP?

for oil feed use the stock oil pressure sensor location. using a fitting you can find here www.tunertoys.com , or here www.---------------------------. you will still need to tap your oil pan for the return. find the complete kit at those 2 places.

Who is giving you all this kickass information anyways? Seems to me like you got all kind of information thats bullshit. You can run it without a chipped ecu, but dont run it in boost. You can tap the block, no problem. Done it before with quality stealthmode parts and it works fine. Or you can use a oil sandwich adapter. Read this forum before you ask anymore questions or your gonna get ------- owned!
