TURBO HELP

i recently got a t28 turbo
then i ended up buying the manifold , BOV, and intercooler for 160

i know i need
oil feed drain kit
down pipe
charge piping
silicone connectors
boost gauge/controller
and oil pan gasket exhaust gasket

can someone tell me what else i need if i missed something i have a d16 in a 95 eg coupe

and let me know if a got ripped off for the other stuff

all i can say. is i don't think you got ripped off payin $160 for that stuff if it's in decent condition.
depending on what type of the mani, bov, or ic you got you could've easily paid 160 for them seperate. you know.

i can't see anything missing, but then again, i'm still new to the turbo systems thing. srry if not much help.

hah thanks man i was jus wondering im jus tryin to put my car on low boost for cheap and i know you shouldnt go cheap but any one know how much you think ill end up paying for the rest of the stuff

oh i did just remember one thing.,. the oil lines!
if you don't have braided oil lines... GET THEM! unless you wanna replace the rubber ones once or twice a year.
you'll have to check prices for the lines. i think the braided ones are kinda expensive, but are definitely worth it.
as far as the other stuff.
oil feed drain kit - very cheap maybe $20 or less
down pipe - depends on if you fab stuff yourself, or buy one made.
charge piping - same as above
silicone connectors - i have no idea. haha
boost gauge/controller - same as above. haha

really really sorry. i bet this is no help to you. haha. i'm still so new, but i'm trying to help. so bear with me.
i wish i could say more.. but i'm sure i'd just make more of a fool of myself.
good luck.

my friend said you can by parts and what not from home improvement stores (what he did) and do it yourself... i'd have to ask him what he got.

if you find Toyolla somewhere in the fab section of this site. he made (and had a friend help make) his own mani. downpipe. etc.. and should be able to help you figure out pricing for that.

its got to be hard as hell finding those little fittings and ---- with holes through them and what not

snowdrift 06-05-2009 11:21 PM

like i said. i gotta check with him. haha. he's gonna be the one helping me get my setup all done, so i'm sure i'll see what it is eventually. i'll get back to you when i do.
