turbo fitment issues...hitting radiator?
88 crx hf. the radiator is the stock unit i believe and it ------s across the whole front of the bay. my quesdtion is that if i use the hf manifold and utilize an adapter plate, will the turbo hit? or should i just go ahead and get a radiator that goes across half the bay?

it dependson the size of your compression wheel, but it SHOULDN'T (not saying it won't). it will be pretty close, so your going to get a lot of heat transfer fromt he turboto the rad, and the hot air throught he rad isn't cooling th turbo any, hence why a lot of people got o the 1/2 rads.

You should be fine, I was only close with one project using the HF manifold setup in a 4g engine bay, and that was with the T3 Nissan turbo, But it really depends on how the adapter plate is designed.

The Nissan T3 Jeff mentions is a .60 trim compressor wheel with a .52 AR compressor housing, .63 AR turbine. It's about as big as a T3 gets... my semi expert guesstimate is you're fine with any T25/T28/T3 or 14b/15G Mitsu.

Re:turbo fitment issues...hitting radiator?
Ya, that turbo I used I dont think was the big T3 from the 300zx, I got it from a JDM wrecker, and it was just labled VG30DET, but the wheels were very very small, and the imprint was .48/.42 for the A/R's. So it wasnt the big 300z one.
The fact my adapter plate sucked didnt help, it pushed it out to far towards the radiator.
