turbo feed angle

quick question !! i'm change up my turbo set-up with a big turbo, BUT the turbo i am used has a 90 angle with the flange and the oil feed. so can the oil feed be on the side ?? or does it have to feed from the top ?? this will make it e-zer for me to mount the turbo. thanks

Re: turbo feed angle

It has to feed from the top and I believe within 15 degrees of being straight up and down. So it can the 90 degree fitting, but it has to be at the top

Re: turbo feed angle

Clock the turbo with the drain pointing downwards or a bit towards the oil pan.

thanks guys, i tryed playin around with the angles. but the flange and the feed and return are both on the "body" of the turbo so i can't do that. so i'm goin the make a new
manifold and drop it down so it clears the hood. i was just trying to get away from make a new manifold.....thanks again....

Re: turbo feed angle

what turbo?

you should be able to rotate the center section of the turbo and not have to make a new manifold.
