I was wondering...what is the differenece between a turbo exhaust and a catback. simply the turbo exhaust hooks up from the downpipe back and the catback goes from the cat. back? if so, when i am doing my turbo setup, can i just weld my catback exhaust to my downpipe? thanks

 

catback is from the cat back...turbo back is from the turbo back. you can leaving your catback system on and make a down pipe that will mat up to where your cat is.

 

I just used the pipe that was originally connected to my cat. I took my header off and cut the pipe coming from the cat after the O2S bung. I just welded my DP to it, and it already had a bung for the O2S so that made my life easier.
