Turbo Exhaust. 2.5" cheap... whats good??
What is going to sound real nice and low and loud?
This is in the 400 dollar range. I was thinking 2.75" non mandrel(easyer here in my town) with a 12" res and Megna flow SS muffler. OR better to just go 24" res and no muff not cat? I like loud but I want the tone there... Ideas? this is with a 2.5" mandrel bent DP |

Go to Mufflertech.com they have nice exhaust for cheap prices. I got mine for $240 shipped. It has 2.50" piping and 3.5" tip with siliencer if you want to use it. And they shipped it right away.

That's just the muffler. For another $100 you can get the whole thing.

You will want mandrel bends. Period.

Re:Turbo Exhaust. 2.5" cheap... whats good??
the idea isn't to go biggar sized crush bent pipes to compensate for mandrel.
a 3" will be so crushed up in places you may get up to 50% less flow in the bends. so its like having a 1.5" piping in the corners and 3" in the straights. that creates crap for flow. just get a couple of U bends, or check with a local muffler shop, they can probably order. and get them to weld as needed. its worth the extra money. |
