My buddy got an escort wagon for $300 so he asked me to turbo it cheap. I picked up an egay FMIC and BOV for $60 bucks and I made some ss oill lines and piping. I'm still looking for a junkyard turbo and i have to make a manifold. I'm not sure what ratio FMU to use for 6 psi, any suggestion?

Ford actually put a factory turbcharged Escort(practically an Escort) called an EXP. Do a search there are several built up out there...Some escorts come with a 1.9L(or maybe it's 1. DOHC, it's a strong platform to build on...They are NOWHERE NEAR THE SAME THING, but over in Europe and Australia(I'm pretty sure) they have what is called the Ford Cosworth, a bada$$ car if there ever was one...

 

they had an escort GT turbo as well as the exp turbo. im currently working on finishing my turbo'd escort...if you neet a turbo exhaust manni i know where to get them for the T3, or if you can find a gt or exp turbo manni they use the IHI turbo. also you can check out www.erdtonline.com and there are some boosted escorts on there too

 

What engine mangement (injection system) do you plan on doing?

I have a escort 1,6 1991 and have got most off the things for a small turbo install, but do not really know what to about fuel..

Have thinked about 4 extra injectors in the manifold or rewiring the whole injection system to Mega Squirt... (adaptor print)
