Turbo e30: Its Alive!!!
 

Finally got her running last night. Idles great. Need to bleed the brakes so I couldnt take it out.

Only problem was that oil was spewing out of the turbo. Realized I still had the valve cover breather hooked up to the intake mani. Retarded. So it will get rerouted tonight.

Turbo: Warner ISHI .42/.48 (Had a Garret but it was toast)
Intercooler: Audi 5000 Blackstone
Mani: Flipped over stock mani with homemade adapter using t3 flange
Injectors: 24lb ford motorsport high impedance
Votech 12:1 FMU
Walbro 225 Fuel pump
Ignition: Bone stock, new cap, rotor, wires, and plugs.
BOV: Audi something or other

Thats it. I'm having a machine shop cut out the flange cause u cant get them for this turbo. Then down pipe and exhaust. Thinking of running a Burns straight thru muffler side exit.

Yeah its kinda ganster. I will eventually replace it with a be1 piece bend just so its lessens the chance for a leak.

Supposedly the m10 1.8 is a better boost canidate than the m20 2.5 The m20 have rocker are trouble and timing belts instead of chains. There are many people (mostly 2002 guys) who coaxed 300hp on stock internals out of the m10.

o u have the 1.8, my friends is the 2.5L dinan had bought the car from bmw and turbo'd it brand new, he bought it a while back, a couple years ago the turbo was upgraded from whatever one they used to a ballbearing t28, dinan has some black box in the glove box for fuel managment, someone needs to make a freeware program for tuning them that ---- is so expensive.anyways the dinan on 10psi rapped my friends m3 i have a vid of it too. he turned the boost to 13psi and it can't keep traction in 3rd gear now haha. the rear wheel drive is pretty sick boostn if it wasnt a honda id turbo a m3 or anyother e36 style, bmws r nice and comfortable and i feel safe going fast :6
