I have a 97 civic dx obd2 with a .57 trim turbo kit on it, i start it up and it runs richer then bill gates, so i took my reg and took it to 20psi, still runnin kinda rich, but thats not my bigest problem, when i go passed 50% throttle it shuts off and idles, so i wondered what i need to do to fix this problem, i have a p06 ecu with conversion harness, (stock p06) if i convereted my car to obd1 would this fix the problem? if so what do i need to convert? the ecy and conversion kit dont do it alone, i think i need the iacv from a eg, and the distributer? whoever helps me and the ronda reach boost, i swear, night on the town, on me, we'll get bitches and hoes

you dont have a chipped ecu do you?
honda ecus don't like positive manifold pressure and your car is going into limp mode.

no, i do not have a chipped ecu, but i havea missing link, so doesn't that make my car not read psi in the manny? and also im garbage at lookin stuff up, i tried, but do they make a chrome chip for obd2? and if not what website do you recommend to get the chip for a po6? and is that a yes to the iacv conversion? sorry for allt he questions its jsut im stumped, my friend has a 2000 si that he bought and we ahve no idea why it works and mine doesnt, only code his throws is temperture and mine throws no codes at all.

obd2 has very, very few options (afc, fmu) Go To -------------, he should be able to set you up with everything

thanks man, got one final question, my car is runnin, and throwing a code now, its throttle position, i did have the stock y7 manny and tb, and got a new aftermarket manny, the throttlebody i had was set for horizontal intake so i took a y8 tb and put it on so it is set to run out the side, any ideas on the positioning? if i fix this it may be able to let me get on it a little, i just want my car to have fun under boost, the code is p1121, throttle positioning, air fuel meter

I went to phearable.net, and waiting for a reply back, i read everything on the website concerning their chip that comes with 2 step, custom rev lim, speed governor takin off, and clicked the order form and under the programming options theirs like 5 different things, that cost from 30 dollars to 150 dollars and from what i need all i need is the 30 dollar chip to install into my po6, im going to convert my car to obd1 tomorrow and hopefully the guy will reply then seeing today is monday, but i have my obd2a to obd1 conversion harness, a po6 and getting a intake manny off a obd1 dx 5spd, so i have the 2 wire iacv, can somone confirm this is everything i need? and the chip comes preburned witht he data it needs for my car? then i post boobies

Don't forget you'll have to convert the connector/wiring from the y7 IAC to the y8 IAC. What do you mean on positioning? TPS position? Hell you can always run a Greddy bluebox as those work well on OBD2 systems. ALso besides the missing link...what else are you running for fuel management? If that's all your running...
