turbo on d16z6 help me
 
im on this project for 1 week an all was going well. I was suppose to fit an eagle talon manifold and turbo on my 94 civic si. I buy the exhaust gasket to realize that it really doesn't fit a eagle talon manifold and i cant make it fit. What can i do for the manifold. What should a buy. notice that i dont what to pay to much for this its why i took an eagle talon turbo. please help me,what should i do

the talon manifold dont bolt up, just get a std, hf, or cx manifold, and just let a machine shop make an adapter plate for u. :)

why i cant take my own manifold and cut it and fit a plate.

Doesn't work that way. You cannot use a dsm mani on a handa.

on H & F Series you can w/ little mods but not the D, sorry dude, go find a hf manifold for cheap!

You can cut your stock manifold and weld a flange to it. The stock manifold is cast-iron so you need a special welding rod for this jod. Also, based on the shape of the stock manifold, you might not have enough clearance from the block in order for the turbo to fit properly. Good luck!

with the d16z6, i highly doubt you can cut and add a flange since it is a 4-2-1 manifold. I have only seen the dx 4-1 manifold done before. if it has been done, i'd like to see some pics.

skumdum, sell the talon manifold and you should have enough money for a civic/crx hf/std/cx manifold. good luck
