Turbo Civic question please help?

My civic has been turboed for 2 months now and today I installed a starion fmic to replace the small sidemount I had. I removed the ecu fuse during installation and replaced it after I was done. I started the car and let it idle to let the ecu reprogram itself with the new intercooler. I took it out for a spin to see what the new intercooler did. I start off in 1st to 3psi, shift to 2nd and run to 4psi and take it to 3rd gear up to 5psi then have to stop at the light. It was fine when I was running, a/f was stoich and all was fine. When I stopped the rpms jumped to 3000 all on its own instead of idling at the usual 600-800rpm. I turn back and go home. I replace the charge pipe with an intake to see what happens and the car was still running 3000 rpm then made a real loud sucking sound then went to the normal 600 rpm. What could that have been? I hooked the turbo back up and everything is perfect. What do you guys think that was? Sorry for the long post

My guess would be the IACV or maybe a vac line? Did it have a cel?

Re:Turbo Civic question please help?

All the vac lines were fine and no cel. The engine light didn't even come on. I did not move anything around during installation except changing charge pipes and intercooler. My dad helped me and he is a good mechanic and he has no idea? All he says is that it may have been the elctronics trying to adjust (ecu, map sensor) but I have a missing link from synapse.
