Re:turbo civic question
first off if your gonna be running 450cc injectors you need to get a feul controller and a resistor box so you dont fry your ecu and overflood your engine...and u dont need a fuel pump and fmu with that but some say to upgrade the fuel pump... get a 195 lt/hr intank walboro...

Re:turbo civic question
if you're running 450's you need to run some sort of "hack" like the safc-vafc. make sure you are running a resistor pack with those injectors or you will burn out your ecu output for your injectors. if you are doing this you will not need a bigger fuel pump.

Re:turbo civic question
i have the resistor pack for the injectors. so should i use a fmu or not.

Re:turbo civic question
do not use the fmu. the larger injectors and afc will be your feul management.

Re:turbo civic question
DOnt have money for AFC???? I dont understand this... I have seen this question asked plenty of times, so lets do some math here.
You have the 450 injectors and you want to go with an FMU, well first of all kiss your 450's goodbye... cause you wont be able to pull it off. Like it was mentioned. You need an AFC or something else to control the injectors. If you go with an FMU thats like what? 120 or so? then you need to get a bigger fuel pump, thats like what another 120? so it comes out to 240 or so if your lucky. Why do this when you can get a used AFC for like 200$ i just dont see the logic in putting your trust on a mechanical device to control your fuel? |
