i had a kkk turbo and i wanna ditch it and get soemthing different, i have a d16y8 i wanna run stock engine and i wanna run 8 psi, any ideas on what is a good turbo that i can find on ebay or something, i want it to spool early and go to redline, and which wastegate should i use, internal or external, if external, should i get tial or delta

 

try to find a TDO5H 14b turbo off of earlier mitsubishi cars.

 

thats the thing i dont wanna go dsm, i wanna go garret or soemthign esle, got any other ideas

 

I would just try to find the cheapest turbo in the best condition. I am sure you will be happy with whatever turbo you get. Here is a write up with a bunch of turbocharger info.

go with the dsm if you are looking for cheap and good power, most bigger garret and other aftermarket turbos will lag more but have better top end, and if you are buying a garret that is the same size as a 14b you will pay way more.

tial and delta gates are pretty much the same, i have heard good and bad about both, i have a deltagate b/c i got it cheap off a friend.
