Turbo Celica, HMT style, Injector options?

Turbo Celica, HMT style, Injector options?
In an unfortunate turn of events, my built up Prelude blew the hell up. Needing a car quick, I nabbed a 95 Celica ST. The 109 hp 115ft/lb 7afe is getting a true HMT setup, with a ghetto-fabulous cast manifold and a watercooled T25 junkyard turbo.
Now I'm stuck on an injector setup. I plan on oversizing the current injectors (90cc/min - eww!) and dialing down with the S-AFC. I don't feel like spending any extra cash to score a set of RC injectors, do I have any cheaper alternatives? My current injectors appear to be saturated, as I can't find a resistor box anywhere. I've heared rumors that MKIII Supra's have injectors I can use, is this true?
This toyota thing is sort of fun. There's little to no aftermarket so everything is pretty shadetree.

Re: Turbo Celica, HMT style, Injector options?
i had a turbo 5sfe celica. the fuel rail is the same and the 7mgte 440cc inj. drop right in. im actually using them on my honda now, suprisingly, they drop right in on both sides of the fuel rail as well. ------ hondas, awesome! good luck with your setup. the afc idle and part throttle tuning was too poor for me. i live in NJ where the temp changes alot so that may have had something to do with it. i dont know

Hey, I have a turbokit for that car for sale, what do you know?
You can use the NA MK3 supra injectors (310's), but there a little small. Get some 450's and some inline resistors. It'll work fine. I used an SAFC for fuel control.

That's awesome news, I'll try and nab some referbed 450cc's from the local speed shop and do the clip modification like I would have for a Honda. I hear you about SAFC part throttle/idle problems. I helped a buddy turbo a Del Sol back when I lived in Michigan. This is Florida though, the temperature is hot and hot.

ok maybe not NO aftermarket for Toyotas, but then again everything seems like it has no aftermarket compared to Honda
You can use the 440cc injectors from a MK3 supra turbo, or a 1st gen Celica AWD 3sgte, but you'll need to grab the resistor pack with them.
Lot's of guys are running MegaSquirt on their toyotas, it's a good match.
Good luck
Neil

Re: Turbo Celica, HMT style, Injector options?
if i do the calculations correct... an afc can't support 450's in ur car...
the calculation goes as follows[(original injectors size / new injectors size) -1] *100 which goes like
([90/450] -1) *100
which equals 80... you would have to do -80 jus to get the bitch to idle and i dont see that happening with an afc.
someone correct me if im wrong?
