turbo on carb?

new here... lots of questions...
i have a 1971 mach 1... 302ci putting out ~400 horsepower.. i want to do a twin turbo setup. i have been told to do two t3s. obviously this is a carburated car. im going to go with i guess a blow through method. for that i need to make a carb hat. but my question is the sealing. i heard problems of leaks. what do you think? and then my other question is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-T4...45571491QQrdZ1 those turbos they say are good for making 300 hp... im already passed that... but hten again i want 2.. give me some recommendations.. thanks in advance

Re: turbo on carb?

those ebay turbos you have there, you get what you pay for. go to a junkyard for your turbos and have them rebuilt if they are shot. cost will be about the same, and you'll have a much better product in the end

Re: turbo on carb?

your motor is too big for anything smaller then two large t3's
look up some holsets, run an hx at 30psi :P

Yo Colin buddy, hit up the for sale forum on here to look for some used turbos. They won't kill your wallet but they won't fall apart like the E-bay/chink made ones will.

It's Brett btw :P

that is sweet... when my car is done it will have a 351 in it... i have that motor sitting on a stand in my basement next to my other 68 302... the car will be that dodge like sandy orange color.. i think... black interrior.. and hopefully turbo..

i just realized that my rods might only be good up to 500 hp... so the turbos might have to wait until i build my next 302.. or do my 351
