Damn, I was hoping to hear about a C5 build. As in a Corvette C5.

Anyways, I won't give advice on the comp ratio since I've never built an engine to handle that much power.

9:1 c/r will do fine, but if your using sleeves, you may as well bore the ---- out of them and go 84 mm....

Why are you spending the big $ on sleeves for 450 hp, the stock sleeves should handle that no prob.

although many will argue the integrity of the stock sleeves at 450 hp should be fine and is dependant on tuning, having a reliable 450 hp will require aftermarket sleeves, and like i said if you want good torque numbers, you should go 84 mm bore.

almost the same setup I'm going to run, shooting for 450hp on a 84 mm c5 block, stock hype r head and a gt35r turbo. I would run 9-9.5:1 anywere in there is fine. I also like the idea of the little extra insurance/peace of mind sleeves give That setup will be capable of more, but what the ---- are you going to do with more :P

Haha... that's how they name the generations of Corvettes. C1, C2, C3 etc. My buddies dad has both a C1 and a C5.

It's not the motor code.
