Default Turbo Accord Project......help please!!

hi, i have a 94 lx 2dr accord, which im planning on boosting soon. i already have a dsm manifold and a TDO5H turbo, as well as a nice custom FMIC. i do have some questions as i am pretty new to this stuff, i was just wondering, is the turbo water cooled? if so, i will not need a turbo timer ..correct? also, i just got some 450cc DSM injectors, does anyone know how hard these are to install? and one last thing, engine management, do i need to get my ecu chipped or do i need some type of air flow controller? any help would be appreciated, i know everyone on here is smarter than i am....thanks a bunch

i hate to burst your bubble here, but im pretty sure the DSM manifold will not work on the F22b...completely different port patterns. you may need to look into getting a new manifold

hey r33, didnt you use the dsm manifold on your f22? dont we have the same engine? unless yours is a f22b1, which i dont think had any different port patterns as my f22b2.

Yeah, Eric is right.. but we covered all that in our long *** thread. His accord is a 4g, F22a1 motor.

F22B1/F22B2 have an offset head pattern.. you might want to consider a head swap.

Read the thread and learn.

the dsm mani's dont work with 5g's....so ur gonna end up spending alot for a manifold which on average equals like half our budget for the whole setup :P

f20a sohc, f20a dohc, f22a1, f22a4, f22a6, f22b, h23 all have equidistant exhaust ports just like the 4G63 engine that the dsm manifold. Example:
O O O O
f22b1 and f22b2 are the oddballs in this case and their exhaust ports are like this:
O O O O
