Should I turbo my 85 Prelude and just wait till it blows and get a b20 with gsr head and have a sleeper? i dont know of any one who has dont any thing to a old skool prelude like this so if any one has let me know and tell me how it when and if it can be done. It's going to be quite a task to drop a B20 in there. Turbo the A series

Closed, cast iron deck... yum!

Same dimension rods as H23 if you ever decide to get funky. They run 86-89 Integra gearbox (gearing might be different) but with a different bellhousing on the tranny case + I think the input shaft is different, and same as similar year Accords (again, gearing might be different).

Simple pre-OBD0 to OBD0 pinout swap/addition to run 90-91 PM6 and TurboEdit.

I think your only problem with the stock A20 is the same one as every other FWD shitbox ever made - fixing the suspension so you actually have traction.

Dont mean to jack the thread but this question is directed to Mr. Davis. You say that the B20 rods are the same dimmensions as the H23. Well since h23 and the f22 use the same dimmension rods aswell are you saying that i could then get the b20 rods for my f22. I would REALLY like to know if this is for sure because there are very few people who sell rods for the f22.

As for Curzinpastu, I love the sleeper idea. Who doesnt like an old import who can haul ass. If you have money to turbo than do a swap later go for it. But it may be more worth it to get that b20 in there then build it up for FI or keep it NA, either way you'll still be fast. ;)

Sorry I think i miss read your post. But which rods from which block have the same dimensions as the H23? I would really love to know because i need to find a cheaper alternative than the crower $711 rods.

placeracing makes the mounts for the swap, it's pretty easy.

the thing with the prelude h series, is that the block walls are pretty thin... unlike the integra b series motor. And i would'nt attempt to drop the b20 in there without getting some good piston and rings in there if you wanna boost. Just a heads up...

Well, since this thread is about the new TL, I'd guess what I meant was that the J35 rods are identical to H23. Which is isn't, and they aren't, but I'm failing to see how re-explaining myself would clarify the matter when you can just re-read the thread.
