turbine wheel

im gona trade my t3 for a t3 uper 60 but the super 60 needs a new turbine wheel because the thread that the nut tightens to broke off. should i take the deal and if so how hard/cost would it be to put a new turbine wheel in it

Re: turbine wheel

just to clarify, the turbine wheel which the hot side and not the compressor wheel which is the cold side.
so the shaft is broken right.
look at how much the turbine wheel is with the shaft and then decide if you want to spend that.
with a new wheel, the turbo would need to be balanced.

what's wrong with your current turbo?
and are you sure you would be trading for a "super 60" and not a 60 trim or 60 a/r turbo?
