ok, i was wondering if it would help or hurt to run an intercooler between a cold air intake and the intake manifold, i just have the intercooler laying around and was wondering

 

prolly wont be anything more than a restriction in the intake tract because the compressor wheel is gonna heat up that charge air as it goes thru the compressor housing, wouldnt hurt to try i suppose but i bet it wont benefit much...thats what the intercooler is for. all the truck drivers around here call them aftercoolers, not intercoolers lol

 

well i was just experimentin earlier, and it seemed to rev quicker n juz acted like it had more power, maybe have juz been me tho

 

oh gotcha
i assumed he had a turbo on there. i couldnt see an intercooler helping at all on a NA car its a bigass restriction in the intake tract that way

 

ok,it was juz an idea, i have an esi and a blown tsi motor n juz tryin experiments, ne ideas

 

both are 96 , the tsi has a blown piston and valves,damn nos

 

want to sell off your blown ----?
