Trouble getting adapter plate together
But of course, now I'm having problems with my adapter plate. ::) How should I get these things connected. Cant find 3/8 studs anywhere, and cant find anything in the thread pitch. I went and found some random 3/8 bolts that are about 2.5" long. Could I just crossthread it in and force it to hold? Need suggestions.

Re:Trouble getting adapter plate together
on my setup, the civic hf manifold has no threads and either does my flange on my turbo so i don't need threads, only need to tap the adapter plate and put studes into the plate and use a nut to tighten on the turbo and manifold
if you aren't lucky like me, drill out the threads on the turbo or manifold.. i think nuts and using locknuts etc are better than threading into the damn thing... don't drill holes into adapter plate unless necessary.. tap everything |

Re:Trouble getting adapter plate together
i see where his question is coming from. I have thought about this several times myself.
do you just use a bolt and screw it through the bottom of the turbo inlet flange into the threaded adapter plate. then anothing bolt down through the hf manny into the threaded adapter plate? |
Re:Trouble getting adapter plate together
3 hardware stores didnt have anything to fit.

Re:Trouble getting adapter plate together
thread and bolt will work but you gotta get the right size and use washers etc.. i think best is studs but i ugess bolt might work.. never thought of that.. hmm....
