trim size?
 
tried searching for "trim" but got nothing really related. is there a calculation you can use to tell the wheel trim ?

Yes you do acually have to take the wheel out and measure it...but keep in mind there is still more to it than that, the way the fins are made, the angle and all that stuff have affect on it too. The only way to really know the true flow characteristics of a compressor wheel is to have the compressor map.

trim size is determined by the inducer diameter and exducer diameter. What did you get that compressor wheel from?

so inducer would be where it sucks the air in and exducer is where it is pushed out? it's from a t3 .52 ar garrett. I assumed it was somthing like a 50 trim but just wanted to know for sure

Just measure the inducer diameter, a 50 trim should be 1.674 inch.
