toyota Aygo 1.0 (3cyl) Turbo
Hi all,
At the moment I'm building a lowboost (6-8 psi) turbosetup for a 1.0L 3 Cylinder Aygo engine fitted in a Peugeot 107.
using a stock impreza turbo rhb5, external wg and fmic will be the basics of the setup.
total custum exaust manifold and downpipe etc.. Aluminium chargepipes with a greddy BOV. Checkvalve for the mapsensor.
stock internals.
for the fuelsystem I want to use an adjustable FMU and this part made me scratch my head....
It was already getting dark outside but I wanted to finish my work by installing the FMU... But It seems that the fuelrail has only 1 fuelline comming to it. so there is no fuel retour line.... and there doenst seem to be a vacuum of electric controlled Fuel Pressure Regulator on the fuelrail.
I've searched for some pics of the fuelpump, and the pictures show 2 fuellines (assume feed- and retour line)
where the @#$* do i mount the FMU? can it be that the engine runs with a variable fuel pressue electronnically controlled by the pump and not using a FPR? sounds silly but i cant find the FPR.... after builing several turbo setups or maybe i have a crooked eye...
pics comming soon

if there is only one fuel line going to the rail that vehicle has a returnless fuel system. fmu will not work. on a returnless fuel system the fuel pressure regulator is in the tank with the pump assembly. you will need a custom tune with larger injectors. you dont want to use an fmu anyway. thats a 20 year old technology.

if you insist on using the fmu then you will need to convert the fuel system to a return style fuel system. it maybe cheaper and less of a headache just to use the returnless fuel system, add larger injectors and get it tuned.
