Hi all totally new to anything with forced induction and have idle hands

So ive decided to play ..... dangerous eh

The motor is a 5.0 chevy v8 and am trying to go for a blow thru set up

Ive got myself 4 turbos (2 of each from tt subarus) and am mounting 2 of these (the small ones IHI vf26) to the 5.0

Ok these sound small BUT the 5.0 only put out 130bhp from factory so not that powerful and as its a v8 my thinking was if I think of it as 2 separate engines then its like 2 x 65 bhp hence the small turbos

But im now wondering if I should go for the larger 2 instead

Im not expecting anything over 8psi from each and this is just for fun being a v8 its very rarely going to go over 5500 (if ever) and its also an auto

Do you think this will work

Ive looked at a few calculators but get totally confussed

Sorry the turbos are IHI VF 13s not 26 D'oh

I'm not sure I would use the small turbos - keep in mind these motors can wake up significantly over 130 hp with some breathing mods.

What sort of intake is it using, anyway?

edelbrock performer inlet and edelbrock 1404 carb (just been playing with the jets) have read on other forums that these work well as blow thru with little modification

If you're putting breathing mods on it, I'd size a pair of twin turbos off an engine that made at least 350 hp stock.
