Default Torque spec on turbine bolt

Hey, I'm putting back together a t3 turbo and I was wondering how tight the nut that holds on the turbo wheels should be?

Thanks - Alex

I can't tell you what the torque spec should be, but i can tell you that if you want that turbo to last at all you NEED to get it balanced by a turbo builder. They should be able to put it together to (properly torqing it)....they will grind of little tiny bits of that nut to properly balance the turbo.

just make sure that its not so tight that the turbo doesnt spin freely. not too loose to where you have shaft play. and yes it needs to be rebalanced.
