Probably. What injectors are you running?

most likely it's getting too much fuel at 4k. take it easy on the car til you get the good fuel management, especialy in 3rd-5th gear.

No fuel management? :-X I highly doubt you're running rich. :-\ That's about the best way to blow a motor. I wouldn't suggest running any boost without SOMETHING to deliver more fuel. :-\

at least go out and buy the FMU. that would be better than nothing.

I'd say you are definetely getting too much fuel. Especially in 3-5th gear, only because you are putting out the same amount of fuel as in 1-2nd. When you are in 3-5th gear there is less stress on the motor/ with the same amount of fuel, so you will run richer, thats why when you dyno you never dyno in 5th gear.

you dyno in the gear that has the closest ratio of 1:1, which happens to be 4th in most honda's ;)
