Too much boost?
im about to install an air-fuel guage, and the only fuel management i have is an fmu, im running 5PSI on my 99 civic SI and i was wondering how much more boost i have run with stock internals if its running rich??

get a new fuel pump, definetely.
you'll need it no matter what kind of fuel setup you go for in the future, fmu, or friggin hondata. but yeah.. stick to like 5-7psi on ur setup :) |

5psi is nothing, you should be fine

is a new fuel pump something i need to get right away if i go higher or will my stock pump hold up for a while?

no you do not NEED a new fuel pump. some people have very bad problems with higher output fuel pumps raising the fuel pressure and causing a very rich condition in non boost situations. bob kennedey aka most hp on a stock d15a3, ran 14psi with stock fuel pump, modified fuel pressure regulator and 450cc injectors.
