To4B

I got a to4B from a local junkyard. Im planning to do a b20 block b16 head project. Does anyone know where did the turbo come from? It says airesearch TO4b AR .60, plate says TO4b25. The turbo has a twin inlet on the exhaust side. I was wondering what rpm it will spool on a b20?

WOW! that's a T-4 flange, big flange but the trim sounds good to me. You might have a hard time finding a manifold for the block. (unless you make one) Don't quote me 'cuz I'm kinda guessing...

Re:To4B

Is the .60 marking on the cool or hot side?

Give everyone the complete a/r (both sides).

The twin inlet is a split housing. Sorry to say but that turbo is probably going to be too big for your application. I have 2 TO4B's and they're both split housing with a 60 compressor and 84 turbine. The compressor is what you want but your turbine is probably too big.

Most likely that turbo came off a diesel motor

It says AR .60 cold. I havent check the hot side. You think it would be too big for my application? Coz Im planning to just put it on a built b18c3 or b20 motor. Need help guys. Ill get back on the AR of the hot side.

Does anyone know how to put the downpipe? The exhaust doesnt have any flange or bolts to hook it up with? I cant even use the clamps for it like the TO4b i have seen! ???

Re:To4B

I think you'd have to weld on a custom flange onto a turbo manif. made for your engine/ head.

Downpipe: find out what the original looked like.

Can you post a picture?

Edit: Before you worry about how to mount it, find out what size it is and if it's right for your application.
