My boss wants to boost his tiny little motorcycle engine (I think 200cc).
Are there turbos small enough?

He told me he saw some kits for mini-bikes, but I dont know.

yeah, actually i have this tiny mitsubushi turbo off of a yamaha seca turbo. they have kits for mini bikes and ----, but i think if you snagged one of the smaller turbo bikes, like the cx500tc honda or they seca xj650lj lk turbo, it would work ok.

the rest of the bikes that came oem turbocharged are a bit bigger from 700 up to 1100 and i think would be a little to big.

Found out today, it's a 125cc engine.
Any ideas?

Would it need to be intercooled?

 

Yeah a JRC frontmount would work nicely.

A friend in NZ has access to tiny tiny Roots blowers off of 600cc Suzuki micro vans.

 

DSM sidemount infront of the front mount rad? I don't know.

No a 4 stroke

I dont think MHI has a turbo that would be appropriate for this small of an engine.

 

Some SKi-doo Snowmaobiles came turboed. 450cc 2 stroke. Try one of those, also a Pontiac Firefly intercooler would b perfect, it's about the size of an average novel book.
