timing question
me and my buddy are just getting ready to boost his civic. but we know that his timing is off, should we have it dialed in beofre we boost it, and just leave the timinag at 0? or should we wait until after the install and advance/retard it?
thanks for any help. |
Re:timing question
i would set it at 0 before i did anything. depending on how much boost u run i dont think u will even have 2 retard the timing cause i know some people's motors run fine with it at 0 but dont quote me on anything someone else could help u better than i could but thats what i would do

set the timming to stock, not 0. Also, i think vafc's tend to advance timing as well :-\ |
Re:timing question
ditch that afc for something that isn't gonna advance your timing all crazy.
