Those vitaras are cast, so for your 26th engine buy something better.
If you want reliable 300-400hp, then go with forged pistons.
I have vitaras for my next motor (#25), but are not looking for those numbers.
I have the rods for #26 and will get forged pistons then.

vitaras have been proven to hold 300HP and from what i recall are forged... but thats just what i remember reading in a post somewhere floating around about them being forged

im shooting for about 300-350 on my vitara build once i get it running and broken in

how many have been proven? 2, 3?
they are not forged, they are cast.

no they are not forged. but they have a differant heating process that makes them more durable.
and yes people have ran them over 300 safely. evosol has about 325 on his.
you can get that settup from fjt on hondatech for 135 to your door.

fjt offers them complete (locking clips/piston pins) and hastings piston rings. nice guy and best deal. pistons are coated also unlike the stock suzuki vitaras.
on ebay there is another guy that charges a little more but only includes npr rings.
