Re:Tial big blue spring??
its either 14.5psi if you have the 38mm/40mm gate or 22psi if you have the HP 35mm Gate.
Maybe you dont have the "big" spring.. probably just a small spring. btw if anyone has ever put these springs in these gates they are a ----- to do in the car. Especially when you use double springs. >:( |
Re:Tial big blue spring??
yea i thought the large blue was 1bar. i had a small red one and it was .45 bar i just bought a 8psi one and its green

Re:Tial big blue spring??
anyone got pics of the spring size? Im pretty sure it's the big blue because it took up majority of the inside of the wastegate. and sprung up dam hard when i got some of the screws off.

Re:Tial big blue spring??
Damn, Im glad you put that up here because i thought mine was a lower PSI. I have the large red for the 35mm=15.9psi. Does anyone know if i can use the smaller springs in my WG or no? I would have preffered to start around 10psi since im gonna have a dual stage boost controller.

Re:Tial big blue spring??
i have the small red one, .45bar if you wanna buy it,

Re:Tial big blue spring??
Will it fit in my 35mm tial? Im not sure if i can swap the large for a small spring.

Re: Tial big blue spring??
great thread, but how the hell do you tell if you have a "big" or "small" spring? ive got a 1.875" red spring in my wg, dont even know if its a 35 or 38mm gate, do you measure the size of it with the ring installed or without?
