Throttle surge, No boost

Ok, i just installed my turbo and got it runnin today...my charge pipe guy is real busy so i gotta wait to get a proper intercooler and charge pipes. So i used a ghetto ass charge pipe system, and a bov that i had sittin around. So anyway, I went for a drive, and not only was I making no boost, but every once in a while my throttle kinda takes over, i can take my foot right off, it surges up to like 4,5,6k rpm for no reason, if I hit the gas it settles down, im thinkin TPS. But yah, I cant hear the turbo spooling and im gettin no boost. I already tried taking the vac line off of my wg and climbin rpm slowly, still no boost. I know it cant be a turbo related problem because before I hooked up my charge pipes I took the car for a drive with just a filter in my intake manifold and open turbo I guess you could call it, I could hear the turbo spool.

could have overspun the turbo when you drove around with no charge piping

i drove it like...1 mile...not even kidding, dont think that can ruin the turbo.

it could be your cable sticking or there`s a vaccum leak, it could be a leak along your vaccume line, also check your BOV and WG coz i`ve seen similar problem caused by a broken /misaligned inner gasket.

yah im gonna make sure that the cable if free of anything that would be hittin it or anything. Which vacuum lines should I be lookin at? Im also gonna pull off my charge pipes to see if My turbo still spools. Ill let you know how that turns out.

maybe its your "ghett ic piping" leakin like a ur mom after i ass rape her =x jk.. but yeah, u got ghetto charge piping then ask why its makin no boost haha... funny guy

Re: Throttle surge, No boost

yeah....I didnt see any leaks in my ghetto charge piping so I was almost eliminating that from the possibilities...but I did find a leak now, still got the throttle problem........
