For those of you using TunerToys oil pressure sender fitting
 
How tight did you tighten that thing into the block? It says 13 ft/lbs in the instructions but I can't get my torque wrench in there.
I have it hand tight right now, I mean I tightened the ---- out of it with my hands but I can still move it easily with a wrench. I would tighten it another revolution but Im worried of cracking something...

loctite and just a 1/4 extra turn after the hand tight. :y

NGK spark plugs say 11 ft/lbs or whatever is hand tight plus 1/16th turn. I didn't even tighten mine down all the way and it doesn't leak, make sure you use a wrap or two of teflon tape.

Then JB weld it to the block fpr safe measure ;)

I did this with my fitting, it was a block type fitting with 1 male and 2 female ends, it didnt weight much but I was still paranoid so after tightening it in I JB welded it to the engine block, now its 1 with the block and I can take things in and out of it without the worry of it breaking or going loose.

So did you guys thread yours all the way in? Right now mine is only threaded about half way in...

Just leave it like that. If it leaks then fix it. I stopped trying to thread mine into the block more than I did because it was getting kinda difficult to turn, and the last thing I want to do is strip out an aluminum hole with pressurized oil. As I said mine is threaded in part way with teflon tape and I had no leaks for the little bit I drove it. The car's an hour away because of a fried ecu so I can't verify exactly how much it is threaded in.

I just tightened mine until it felt right and was lined up with my feed line coming into it. It's not a big deal really

SOmetime last summer Fook made this post about how he broke of a couple sending unit T's in a block and now everyone thinks their made of glass.

sorry for the thread jack...but since we are on the subject:
i think im gonna use an oil line from the block to the tuner toys T. Why? Cuz its a bitch to put the T on a DOHC ZC or D16A1 (its hard to reach, oil cooler lines in the way etc) . Do you think there will be an issue using it this way?
