I see these cast manis for sale all the time but never heard any feedback. Anyone used one?

i dont know but the positioning of the flange for the waste gate is not ideal.

 

looks like a good quality part but a shitty place for the wastegate. if you use an internal wastegate and make a block off plate for that hole then it should be just fine

 

 

i was actually gonna buy one of these with a kit then came to my senses but it looks much better then the the other ssautochrome ones. much for sturdy and less likly to crack i would guess

 

i got drag manifold that looks just like that one. wastegate is vented into the atmosphere with ZERO spikes. and btw its an ssautoturd wastegate

 

I used a Drag just like that on my last setup as well.

I never had any spiking or creeping problems at all. Those manifolds are sturdy as hell. The wastegate placement may suck, but they are cheap and strong.
